Iranian Women and the Struggle Against Political Islam
We host the campaign "Breaking the Chains," which is dedicated to highlighting the resilience and struggles of Iranian women under political Islam. The campaign aims to amplify the voices of Iranian women, portraying them not merely as victims but as revolutionaries, scholars, athletes, artists, and pioneers of change.
The website includes sections such as "The History of Women's Rights in Iran," "Achievements of Iranian Women," "Voices of Iranian Women," and "What Can the World Do?" We invite you to share your own stories anonymously, fostering a sense of community and shared experience.
Overall, "Breaking the Chains" serves as a platform to educate, inspire, and mobilize support for Iranian women's rights, emphasizing their agency and the importance of global solidarity.
A Personal Note from the Creator
"I grew up in Iran, where my two sisters had to navigate a world that treated them differently simply because they were women. One of them stayed and fought every day against the restrictions imposed on her. The other left, choosing exile over oppression. I watched them both struggle, and I realized something: Iranian women are not just survivors; they are fighters, dreamers, and leaders."
"As a man, I acknowledge that my role is not to speak for them but to amplify their voices. This project is not just about oppression it is about resilience, courage, and the hope for a better future. Iranian women are not waiting to be saved. They are shaping their own destinies. The world needs to see them for who they truly are revolutionaries, scholars, athletes, artists, and pioneers of change."
